On 13 September 2017 the board of TMA West Midlands was entertained to a Presentation by Lord Maurice Glasman on the impact and implications of Brexit.  Entitled “From Brexit to Where?” it foretold the journey the country will take as Brexit develops.  In Lord Glasman’s view, it would need to include self governance, free trade with other non EU nations and increased regionalisation, with delegation of power to the regions and decentralisation of the banking system.  Within this, a key issue was the investment in vocational further education and a move away from university education being an all important life step for people trying to enter the workplace.

After the Presentation, the delegates got to engage in networking over a buffet lunch provided by hosts and sponsors, RSM.
