We seek to invest in traditional trading businesses for the long-term, adding operational financial expertise as required.

Breal Capital are privately funded and as such do not suffer from many constraints associated with private equity houses: we don't have investment committee after investment committee, we do not have a specific horizon for exiting our investments and seek to help management teams build equity value, for all stakeholders, over the long term.

We are proud of our track record of providing entrepreneurial management teams with the opportunity to make a fresh start and to develop the potential of their business and are always interested in new investment opportunities.

We aim to support our investments with pragmatic, straightforward advice and see ourselves as long-term partners for good management teams. We focus on building value, not putting up obstacles to success. While many investors impose rigid exit timescales, our horizons reflect what's right for the business and the team.

We come to the table with a pioneering track record of experience in funding corporate carve -outs and turnaround situations, providing over £5bn of liquidity to businesses.

Why use Breal Capital:

FAST: Flat structure - short lines of communication, no bureaucracy, quick delivery, decisive responses and deal execution.
FLEXIBLE: Direct access for clients and their advisors to owners and decision makers. We are a private business able to take a supportive view which mainstream lenders and investors struggle with.
CREATIVE: The combination of private ownership, expertise and access to decision makers means that we provide genuinely creative, out-of-the-box solutions for transactional deals and their advisors.

Incorporated in 2014 we have made 15 investments across the UK and North America. With combined Group revenues of c£200m, 20 operational sites and c500 employees.

  • We can react and mobilise our resources quickly.
  • We understand; we have been there on all sides of any transaction and negotiation.
  • We seek to be decisive, never derisive nor divisive.
  • We derive great pride and satisfaction in seeing opportunity where others do not or cannot; working with management to achieve defined goals.
