Driven by her strong entrepreneurial spirit, Julie-Anne started her first business at 24 years of age and has since founded and invested in a number of successful start-ups in the technology and film sector, including city discovery app Dojo, luxury travel website iMBARC and Dagon (a Pizza Hut franchise across Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, which has employed a number of students supported by her charity, Zamcog). 

 

Her latest project is the feature film, The Flood, of which she is the Executive Producer. Centred on today’s refugee crisis, the film is one of Julie- Anne’s many business endeavours which has a strong cultural purpose.  She is also heavily involved in Human Rights Watch and sits on the Chairmans Committee of the Roundhouse.
