Peter Ketley

Major (ret’d) Peter Ketley The Parachute Regiment

Peter spent 14 years in the army and served with 2 PARA in Berlin, Northern Ireland and Belize. In 1982, he also fought at the battles of Goose Green and Wireless Ridge during the Falklands War.​

Peter later spent two years in North Carolina as the Exchange Officer with the US 82nd Airborne Division and finally in a staff job in London before leaving the army in 1989.

Peter went on to develop a successful career in the textile industry and has travelled all over the world as an International Sales Director.​

He has stayed active throughout his life, running the London Marathon in under 4 hours for his 50th birthday and completing the 100-mile Ride London & Surrey Hills cycle event in 2016. Both challenges raised significant amounts for charity.​

Peter is married to Sally. He has a son and daughter, a three-year-old grandson and a new-born granddaughter.
