The pain suffered by the retail sector over the last few years has been well documented, from Woolworths to BHS, to most recently the House of Fraser. Some household names will disappear, and whist the exact circumstances are different, there are some common pressures facing these sorts of businesses.
At this event we will be looking at such difficult questions as what do you do to help an ailing retailer? whether this is something informal, a CVA, or as a last resort Administration.
And when they do fail we will look at some of the wider implications, for landlords, suppliers, and logistics companies.
This is a sector which is likely to see further change, and a failure to respond by any related enterprise is likely to end badly.
