We are delighted to welcome two senior risk underwriters, Ian Selby and Paul Spinks, from the credit insurer Nexus CIFS, to provide a unique perspective on the implications for the local business community following a number of recent high profile failures. Both presenters bring a wealth of experience with particular focus upon construction sector.

About the speaker/s

Ian Selby - Commercial Director - Nexus CIFS

Ian has been in the credit insurance market since 2005 and joined Nexus CIFS as a Risk Underwriter in 2008. Ian looks after a wide portfolio of policies and has specific responsibility for the construction sector and also has experience in IT and electronics gained from his underwriting role prior to joining Nexus CIFS. Ian was promoted to the position of Risk Underwriting Manager in November 2013.

Paul Spinks - Risk Underwriter - Nexus CIFS

Paul has worked in Risk Underwriting since July 2011. Previously with Euler Hermes where he worked predominantly in the Construction, Metals and Timber sectors covering both domestic and export risks. Paul joined Nexus CIFS in March 2014 and his focus remains on the Construction sector.
