About the speaker/s
Ros is Regional Senior Director for London and National Head of Restructuring Solutions, a team of 35 working across the UK.
Ros has worked within the real estate industry for over 30 years. Ros was promoted to lead the London team in 2013 and took up the role as National Business Unit Head in 2014.
Ros has operated through a series of property cycles culminating in the global financial crisis, a period of seismic events when real estate sat at the very heart of the lending challenges in the finance sector. The team dealt with over 4,000 Receiverships through the period. Unique amongst our peers we operate throughout the property cycle delivering support to our clients facing challenges in the ever changing market conditions combined with wider economic head winds.
Ros leads a team with unrivalled expertise to advise a valued client base of lenders, accountants, stake holders and private equity funds.
Damian has over 20 years of advisory experience. As a qualified Corporate Financier and Insolvency Practitioner he brings a unique perspective to assignments. He spends the majority of his time working with businesses facing some form of issue.
He is a specialist in retail restructuring and fintech. Over the past two years he has worked on a range of retail restructurings, including the successful CVAs of Thomas Sabo and Aldo UK Limited. In addition, he was recently appointed the administrator of Lendy Finance Limited, the first major PtoP to fail.
Damian is Restructuring Advisory regional head for London and leads the retail restructuring practice at RSM.
Tom is a London-based restructuring partner at Pinsent Masons LLP and has over 25 years' experience in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency law.
Tom acts for banks, insolvency practitioners, under-performing companies, directors and creditors. Tom's experience includes advising on recovery strategies in the real estate, retail, not-for-profit and education sectors. He also regularly provides independent advice to directors of distressed companies.
Tom's recent assignments include acting on the administration of a major classic car dealership, JD Classics, following the discovery of financial impropriety. Tom also acted for Perfect Home, one of the UK's largest pay-weekly stores, on its restructuring and sales process, and for its administrators on the pre-pack sale of its business and assets.
