For our March event we welcome Richard Tett, Anthony Parry and Lindsay Hingston of Freshfields as our guest speakers.
Richard is head of Freshfields’ London Restructuring & Insolvency team. Anthony is a senior advisor on Brexit to Freshfields, and formerly a legal adviser to HM Treasury and a member of the advisory group servicing clients across the whole Treasury, providing expert advice on risk, political prioritisation and the legal consequences of change. Lindsay is a senior associate in the restructuring and insolvency team.
By 6 March (and perhaps in a spirit of optimism!), we hopefully will know what Brexit means for the UK and for the restructuring profession, at least in the short to medium term. Freshfields will provide an overview of where we are and what the “current Brexit” means for restructuring professionals. If time allows, given the economic cycle and an expected downturn in 2019, Freshfields will also cover issues to be considered by buyers and sellers in a distressed M&A market.
The presentations will be followed by drinks and canapes, providing a networking opportunity for all delegates.
