For our May event we will focus on the pivotal role played by boards of distressed companies. Together, our guest speakers have extensive experience acting as advisors to, and members of, boards of distressed companies across a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions.
Speaking will be Kevin Pullen, John Whiteoak and John Chetwood of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and Anthony Place and Ben Paice of THM Partners LLP.
THM provides experienced directors (often as Chief Restructuring Officer) to large corporates facing event driven special situations. HSF has extensive experience in helping directors deal with (often unfamiliar) distressed processes. Both THM and HSF guide and assist boards in piloting a course through an often contentious commercial backdrop, where commercial judgment is put under significant pressure.
The speakers will use their practical experience to share thoughts on how to assist boards identify the key issues and decision makers, develop a preferred strategy, and deal with stakeholder activism along the way.
