Based on a TMA roundtable, ‘Flying in a Perfect Storm’ is the first in a new series of reports, providing expert insights on the North West Outlook for the year ahead.

The transcript summary, which can be accessed via the link below, is based on a consolidation of notes taken at the session, which identified key areas of focus for the turnaround sector.

As the outputs of the meeting concluded, TMA members are ideally placed to help management teams in these situations, having a breadth and depth of experience in dealing with complex challenges and uncertainty.

The upcoming market developments, challenges and opportunities take a distinctly aeronautical theme as businesses and their advisers navigate post-pandemic challenges and a series of economic shocks - from tangled supply chains to lingering price pressures:

  • The Risk of Stalling Through Inertia
  • Managing Shorter Runways
  • The Pivotal Role of the Co-Pilot
  • New Dynamics for the Headwinds of Change

The topics from our session were expansive, covering areas such as HMRC, credit insurance, Crown preference, stock overhang and shifting demographics to name a few.
