We will provide an informative update on the return of crown preference in corporate insolvencies and the proposed VAT domestic reverse charge in the construction sector set to come into force in October 2019.
We are joined by guest speaker Annabel Todd - Regional Sales Director at Fresh Thinking Capital who is an expert in Asset Based Lending and Secured Lending.

About the speaker/s
Annabel has been in the financial industry for 12 years and specialised in corporate banking and lending. Annabel is an expert in Asset Based Lending and Secured Lending having worked with businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to multi-national FTSE100 listed companies across a range of sectors lending from £10,000 to £2billion.
Annabel has also consulted for a number of Fintech companies, most notably Monzo and worked with numerous start-ups again across a variety of sectors.
Annabel has studied with the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF) for over the last 10 years and has completed her BSc and MSc in Banking Practice and Management and has now obtained Fellow status. As of January 2018, Annabel has been on the Board of Governors at LIBF.
Annabel is currently opening the Manchester office for a new SME lender, Fresh Thinking Capital whom help SME’s and entrepreneurs take advantage of opportunities without being constrained by the time scales and risk aversion of banks and other lenders.
Annabel has a deep passion for the banking and finance sector and believes the finance sector is not only pivotal to our economy but that the people within it have a huge responsibility to preserve our roots in traditional banking while embracing the changes which challenge the status quo.
