Ross leads PwC’s restructuring team across the West and Wales focused on helping clients and their stakeholders who are facing distress or seeking change. He is a licensed IP, past regional chair for R3 and has been working in the restructuring arena for c.30 years.
He and his team undertake both formal and informal restructuring projects involving strategic, operational and financial reviews for businesses and their stakeholders, cost reduction and working capital improvement projects, accelerated M&A and pre-pack sales, contingency planning and formal insolvency procedures.
Ross has also developed a specialism around pension schemes, the funding of which continue to challenge UK corporates. He advises on sponsor covenant, funding and affordability and pensions led restructuring

Emily Scaife - Burges Salmon
Emily is a newly appointed Partner in Burges Salmon’s Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency team. She advises a wide range of stakeholders including investors, companies, management teams, insolvency practitioners, regulators and pension trustees on both domestic and cross border distressed matters in the private and public sectors.
Emily is a member of R3, TMA and IWIRC and is also a member of TMA’s UK Network of Women committee. She is recognised as a 'Rising Star' by Legal 500, "Up and Coming” by Chambers and Partners and was shortlisted for TMA’s 'Next Generation Professional of the Year Award' in 2019.
