Nicola has been recognised within the Thames Valley and the South as one of the leading insolvency and restructuring practitioners with a reputation for turning around ’sticky situations’ and delivering results. Nicola has been praised by clients for her personal communication style, commercial intelligence and attention to detail whilst balancing client commerciality with risk. Nicola is a member of R3, Institute for Turnaround (IFT), The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Thames Valley Women in Business.

Jeremy Stagg

Jeremy heads Leumi’s Structured Finance desk, with responsibility for a portfolio of big-ticket or complex asset based lending clients, together with block discounting and syndicated deals. Jeremy and his team have worked on a large number of turnarounds and with stressed and distressed borrowers in recent years. He is well-versed in the challenges faced by lenders in balancing the risk and commercial pressures that inevitably arise.

Jeremy joined Leumi ABL in 2009, having previously held risk and relationship roles at GE Commercial Finance and Landsbanki Commercial Finance.

Rob Lewis

Rob leads PwC's Middle Market Business Recovery Services practice in the UK. Rob has worked in the restructuring arena for nearly 30 years, advising boards of directors, lenders and other stakeholders.  His experience includes working with listed and private companies as well as organisations in the public sector – whilst he primarily provides advisory support, he is also a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

In 2018/19 Rob spent 13 months on secondment to Steinhoff NV, the South African listed retail business with operations worldwide.  At Steinhoff he ran the Restructuring Programme Office whilst the group restructured €11bn of debt and most of its worldwide operations.

We work alongside businesses to negotiate great outcomes at speed, finding the optimal solution to financial and operational challenges by reducing risk and protecting value where time and cash are tight.

  • reduce balance sheet stress,
  • generate cash and reduce costs,
  • increase profitability,
  • refinance and find the best source of capital to support business objectives; and
  • reduce long-term pensions and other liability costs.

Whatever the solution, we pre-empt and manage road blocks until the job is done.
