This is my second year as President of the UK chapter and in line with previous Presidents I will be stepping down from the role at the end of the year. I am pleased to announce that the Board has confirmed our support for Paul Davies to take over as President for 2021.

Paul successfully chaired the Annual Conference Committee last year and is doing the same this year, so knows at least in part what he is letting himself in for! I will of course continue to support him as Past President in the same way as Andrew Pepper has provided valuable support and guidance to me.

It will be an exciting year for Paul as it will coincide with the 20th anniversary of TMA in the UK and we will be announcing plans as to how we intend to mark this milestone, watch this space!
Please join me in congratulating Paul on his nomination.

Paul Davies - Partner, BTG Advisory

Paul joined the Board of the TMA in 2018 and is focused on improving the connectivity and networking opportunities for its members both within the UK as well as the rest of the world.
Paul is a regular attendee at TMA Global events and believes there are significant opportunities for UK members to make worthwhile connections in North America and the rest of the TMA global network.
Paul is a partner at BTG Advisory in London and has extensive experience in the area of restructuring. He specialises in risk banking, distressed investing and turnaround and this expertise enables him to provide a unique perspective to any stakeholders. His focus in the Advisory team is wide ranging and incorporates Diagnostic Business Reviews, Accelerated M&A, interim management, debt advisory (particularly via the alternative finance market) and stakeholder negotiations.
Paul was named Turnaround Professional of the Year at the 2017 TRI Awards.
