The role of private equity in turbulent markets

The first event organised by the TMA Yorkshire board for 2023 saw Endless LLP generously host and sponsor a technical seminar discussing how private equity can support businesses in the current economic environment.

Guest speakers Chris Cormack (Partner in the Enact funds of Endless) and Luke Wolf (an Associate Director within the investment team) discussed the current state of the market and explained the role of private equity with specific focus on special situations and turnaround investments, with some examples of how Enact and Endless have been able to support businesses over the last 17 years since its inception.

The event was hosted at the newly refurbished offices of the Endless HQ on King St in Leeds with sign ups of c.70 professionals in the turnaround and advisory community.

In addition to the technical seminar, the event provided an opportunity for attendees to network both before the seminar and afterwards in the roof top business lounge with canapes and drinks.
