A living breathing testimony to young women and an award-winning British born, international speaker, princes trust ambassador, activist, and the chief executive / founder of Goals4Girls development programme. The journey started when an injury aged 16 put a harsh stop to her professional footballing career, casting her ambitions to youth work. Firm in the belief that the football pitch is a sanctuary and tool for change, Francesca set up Goals4Girls to help young women explore issues such as identity, careers, body image and period Poverty. A member of the adidas Football Collective, Goals4Girls, has been able to successfully improve the wellbeing of hundreds of young women through carefully designed programmes, by girls, for girls – breaking down social and personal barriers to success in education and sport. With a mission to level the playing field for girls and young women, she also works to increase racial diversity and improve working conditions for mothers and mothers to be.
