With over 17 years’ experience in commercial finance and leadership within RBS, Gemma joined the board of Reward as Commercial Director in 2017 with the responsibility of building and running the Operations Teams. Applying her background in operations and change to drive a real period of strategic growth for the business, Gemma has overseen the evolution from a small, local lender with £40m of facilities into the national operator that it is today with offices in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and London and a loan book that currently sits north of £210m and continues to grow.

Reward are a fast, innovative and solution-oriented company with a refreshing approach to lending to SMEs and as one of the initial entrants into the alternative lending market over 12 years ago, they continue to have a real impact in this space and now support over 500 UK businesses. Having moved into the Regional Managing Director role in 2020, Gemma continues to thrive on the challenge of driving the growth of the business into new regions and markets and, through her national sales and operations teams, championing Reward and the value of the alternative lending market into professional advisors and their clients across the whole of the UK.
