Hannah has provided debt and balance sheet advice to stressed and distressed corporates since 2001. She is a highly experienced advisor, having worked on a wide range of projects covering strategic balance sheet reviews, recapitalisations, debt-for-equity swaps, creditor representation, covenant renegotiations, securitisation advisory, high yield bond issuance, rights offerings, private debt placements and stressed M&A.
Hannah joined UKGI in 2017 and leads the Special Situations Group. The Special Situations Group provides expert and practical advice to support effective responses by government to financially stressed corporate situations, as an active trusted advisor to stakeholders across government. The team is made up of corporate restructuring practitioners, including qualified insolvency practitioners, experienced restructuring bankers and civil servants. The team acts as a bridge between the private and public sectors, applying deep understanding of the objectives and workings of both.
Prior to UKGI , Hannah worked for seven years in the corporate advisory team within Restructuring Services at Deloitte. Her time at Deloitte included 18 months seconded to Network Rail where she led on key property disposal projects. Prior to that she worked at UBS specialising in restructuring and growth capital, in the restructuring practice at Rothschild and in the financial services audit advisory business at Price Waterhouse where she gained her ACA.
