Richard is a Partner in the restructuring and special situations group at Ashurst. He has particular experience advising government bodies and regulators on crisis management in relation to cases of public interest, including on the insolvencies of Carillion, British Steel, Thomas Cook, advising the Bank of England on various contingency planning cases over the past 10 years, as well as having advised special administrators on a number of financial services special administrations, and a range of other government departments and regulators on other confidential cases and policy matters.
