Roger Marsh was Chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) until 2022.

During his nine year tenure, Roger led the LEP through a period of significant transformation, securing the country’s largest Local Growth Deal settlement - bringing in excess of £2bn of investment to the region.
He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2015 for Services to Business and the Economy, became a Deputy Lieutenant for West Yorkshire in 2019 and was awarded a Kt in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2021.
As a member of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority Board, the HS2 Growth Task Force and the Williams Rail Review, Roger played a prominent role in shaping the future of the region’s major transport infrastructure. He also Chaired the NP11 which brings together the 11 Northern LEPs to support the Government’s vision for the North.
