Gordon Brothers offers customised services on a standalone and integrated basis. We apply these tools to help unlock unrecognised value through the strategic optimisation of assets and operations.

Our responsive, experienced professionals value assets across industries, asset classes, and continents. We leverage the expertise of our disposition practice and the most expansive asset recovery database in the world in placing recovery values.

Gordon Brothers also provides capital to companies in special situations and we are often invited into non-standard transactions when additional capital is required. Combined, these capabilities deliver the insight and support our clients need to confidently assess risk and provide a path forward when challenges arise.

Over the years, we have bolstered our strength in retail, consumer and industrial valuation with key acquisitions including Emerald Technology Valuations and Appraisal Systems, Inc. (ASI), the latter of which served as the foundation for Gordon Brothers Energy Partners. In 2015, Gordon Brothers acquired AccuVal, renowned for its industrial valuation capabilities. Today, we bring this industry knowledge to bear when issuing valuations across a variety of sectors.

In times of growth, change, and challenge, we create custom solutions to unlock liquidity and provide flexibility to owners, operators, and their lenders. For more than a century we have innovated, elevated, and honed strategies to identify and extract value from underperforming assets through hands-on management and capital solutions, across retail and industrial sectors.

Our disposition services span inventory, plant & equipment, receivables, and intellectual property. We work with healthy, stressed and distressed businesses at all points in the business lifecycle, whether that means growth or strategic consolidation or providing certainty on financial or operational results.

Special situations demand specialised expertise. That's why we offer short to mid-term operational support to help companies manage through change. We know that each situation is unique, so we create customised strategies to surmount challenge successfully.

This may involve interim retail store management for special projects, consumer marketing to transition sales to alternate channels or converting brand models to a licensed structure. Our industrial support includes interim plant management, supply chain wind down, and retaining assets as a whole in their working place to maximise value, provide flexibility, and access future opportunity.

Gordon Brothers provides capital to companies in special situations on a fully collateralised basis. Our tailor-made solutions through financing and asset acquisition provides clients with additional capital alongside traditional debt.

We offer term loans, working capital facilities, sale & leaseback arrangements, inventory purchase & consignment arrangements and other bespoke solutions.

It is our core asset expertise and ability to operate assets for a certain period that allow us to take risk and see value where others see none. Whether retail, industrial or consumer brands, our creative capital solutions minimise risk and maximise opportunity at all points in the business cycle.

We work together with management teams, asset-based lenders, private equity and strategic buyers, who often invite us into non-standard transactions when additional capital is required.
