He advises across the capital structure, and has a particular focus on the technology sector where he has advised on a range of distressed crypto circumstances.

Steve has a unique blend of experience in digital assets and financial regulatory law, having worked as the Chief Legal Officer at CThru Intel Ltd since 2022 and been a founder of the upcoming Guernsey virtual assets custodian CVault (anticipated launch in summer 2026). Prior to this, he established the digital assets practice at offshore law firm Collas Crill, advising Web3 businesses and financial services firms on regulatory matters across three jurisdictions. Steve's background also includes serving as a commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force Regiment, where he developed expertise in strategy and risk management. Steve assists clients with designing their digital assets policies, identifying threats to their business, and proposing commercially practicable risk management plans, and will soon be offering regulated custody solutions within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
