Joanne leads Foot Anstey LLPs Restructuring and Insolvency team collaborating with a broad range of businesses, directors, stakeholders and other professional advisors. Her role is focused on opportunities for turnaround rescue and restructure but also involves managing formal insolvency processes.

Joanne is regularly found in the board room providing strategic advice to directors of businesses close to insolvency and she often acts buy side on distressed equity acquisitions. Joanne and her team are also specialists in the investment bank special administration regime.

Heidi is nationally recognized by her clients and peers as a leading lawyer in the practice of financial restructuring and bankruptcy. She is Managing Partner of the firm’s New York office and Co-Chair of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice, where she has demonstrated a strong command of business finance and bankruptcy law through decades of experience counselling clients dealing with distressed debt. She concentrates on corporate restructurings, complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.

Milly has extensive expertise in complex and multi-jurisdictional financial restructurings and distressed mergers & acquisitions involving restructuring matters across Canada and abroad. For more than 25 years, Milly has been a trusted advisor to debtors, purchasers, lender syndicates, secured creditors, monitors, receivers, trustees and other stakeholders in a wide range of industries.

Milly has held senior leadership positions in leading insolvency associations including Global President and Global Chair of the Turnaround Management Association and Chair of the Editorial Advisory Committee for the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC). Milly currently serves as a Director on IIC’s board of directors and as National Co-Chair of the IIC Regional Networking & Development Committee.

Donatella is a Partner at Studio Toffoletto, she is a board member of TMA Italy and an Employment Lawyer specialising in turnaround. She provides high level preemptive legal support in multiple languages with a focus on employment law, contract drafting and union negotiation. Helen has substantial restructuring and insolvency experience, including acting for secured creditors and insolvency practitioners in relation to formal insolvency processes and distressed business sales. She also regularly acts both lender and borrower side in relation to leveraged finance transactions and general corporate borrowing. She is a member of the TMA NOW UK and Europe committees, and of the TMA South-East Counties board in the UK.
