Andrew is the Head of Special Situations and Restructuring at S&W and has over three decades of experience in high-level restructuring and turnaround roles, including within the partnerships of BDO and Kroll Zolfo Cooper, and at Hilco Capital as COO.

His focus is on preserving and increasing enterprise value on behalf of clients in a variety of innovative ways, bringing with him his extensive experience in previous roles as advisor, chairman, investor and lender.

Over the years, Andrew has acted for many household-name businesses, including House of Fraser, Jessops, Habitat, Woolworths and HMV. He has a particular interest in saving and improving stressed businesses before they hit the point of “no return”. Andrew was also awarded as the ‘Turnaround Practitioner of the Year’ at the 2025 TRI Awards.

Simon has a diverse range of experience in financial services spanning over 35 years. Simon was the Managing Director of the Business Finance division at specialist bank Shawbrook. Before joining Shawbrook, he was Global Chief Executive of Bibby Financial Services (BFS), the world’s largest non-bank invoice and trade finance business and prior to BFS, he was Managing Director of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance and Network Director and interim CEO of Lloyds TSB Commercial Banking.

Simon is currently the Chairman of Monument Technology Ltd and Smartr355 Ltd, the leading mortgage processing platform and the independent NED and Chair of Risk at Oxbury Bank, the Agriculture specialist bank.

Isabella is a Economist at Retail Economics, contributing to data-driven insights and strategies that align with market trends and organisational goals. Retail Economics is an independent economics research consultancy focused on the UK consumer and retail industry. They work with a broad range of clients including M&S, Nike, Microsoft, KPMG and NatWest.


With a Master of Arts in International Business Management from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Economy and Society at LSE, Isabella has expertise in demand planning, data visualisation, and economic analysis.

Mike is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution department at Mishcon de Reya. He is an expert in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency. Acting for office holders, lenders or companies in difficulty, his practice covers business rescue and reconstruction; business and asset disposals and acquisitions; international tracing and recovery of assets; insolvency and recovery litigation; compliance and professional issues.

Some of his experience includes advising the administrators of London Capital Finance and associated companies, advising Allseas S.A. and the liquidator of Equity Trading Ltd in wide reaching international investigations, proceedings arising including a substantial (and successful) private prosecution and advising the Government of Iceland and subsequently the Icelandic Parliament with regard to the Icesave crisis
