Michael is a senior executive with more than 29 years of experience in supporting corporates and private equity firms on the improvement of operational and financial performance, restructuring, organizational design, and cost optimization in the high-tech, IT services, business services, and consumer products sectors across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Michael has deep expertise in strategy, operational improvement, operations and finance. Previously he was a Senior Managing Director and Partner with AlixPartners LLP in London overseeing complex international operational transformation and restructuring efforts. He also was a senior executive with Accenture in London, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Zurich, overseeing strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives for Fortune 1000 companies, primarily in the high-tech, telecommunications, IT, and fast-moving-consumer-goods sectors. Michael has an MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Copenhagen Business School. He is also a member of the TMA (Global Turnaround Management Association). He has been a frequent speaker at London Business School, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Copenhagen Business School and Wits Business School.
