John Pye & Sons Ltd has welcomed Giorgio Vitale back into a senior commercial role

National auction house John Pye & Sons Ltd has welcomed Giorgio Vitale back to the business in the newly created role of SVP of Commercial Partnerships.

In his new position, Giorgio will focus on developing existing and prospective commercial partnerships and sales strategies across all verticals and markets across the UK and Europe. He will also be responsible for leading the commercial teams and helping to expand the business into new UK and overseas territories. Giorgio will report into Managing Director, Adam Pye, and fellow director Steve Anderson.

Giorgio was John Pye’s National Business Development Manager from 2015 to 2018, overseeing new business and marketing strategies, before leaving to undertake senior commercial roles within the international Ecommerce & Global Supply Chain sectors.

Giorgio’s return brings extensive B2C and B2B global recommerce expertise to the firm. Experienced in valuing and appraising assets across multiple commodities, including retail consumer goods, consumer electronics, luxury assets, vehicles and property, Giorgio has also developed an extensive network of enterprise level business partnerships across retail and supply chain logistics that will support John Pye’s ambitious growth strategies.

Speaking of his appointment, Giorgio said: I’m excited to return to John Pye at such a pivotal time for the business. As we look to expand into new territories and markets, I am confident that my global experience will help realise the firm’s ambitious plans.”
