I am a versatile London-based finance and restructuring lawyer, dual qualified in England & Wales and New York. I am a partner in the finance practice group at Fladgate LLP and a member of the firm's restructuring and insolvency team.My main areas of practice are special situations, commercial finance, asset-based lending, acquisition finance and lending in the retail sector, and I also have significant experience in M&A and project finance. I have worked on financial restructurings of well-known stressed businesses, frequently representing lenders (funds and specialist bank lenders) or other financial investors. I have represented the lenders to UK/US/European and international businesses going through change including many household names in retail, both online and bricks and mortar, technology finance, aviation services, the food and beverage sector and manufacturing.I have been a licensed insolvency practitioner in the UK since 2010 and advise on downside scenarios and directors’ duties as well as investment-grade transactions.I have deep experience in corporate governance and directors’ duties both from a legal perspective and at board level.
