A highly commercial, experienced and performance driven professional with over 20 years of experience of successful turnarounds, organisational transformation and restructuring often in challenging and complex circumstances. I have worked at senior level with major UK banks, many of the asset based lenders, private equity houses and distressed investors. My industry experience is broad both across industry and professional services, I currently have specific focus and experience in the Further Education sector supporting colleges and boards in addressing the demand for transformation. In addition to the essential technical skills required achieve sustained results, I am able to bring parties together, often in highly pressured situations, and facilitate constructive discussions, so that a workable solution is identified, agreed upon with changes implemented for the benefit of all. My professional relationships with the main industry lenders, the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and also the Transaction Unit are valuable in developing viable and sustainable plans, that address the challenges in the sector as well as delivering on learner needs.
