Mathew joined Assured Hotels in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer, before stepping into the role of Managing Director in November 2018, with over 25 years of experience in the hotel sector.More recent projects include larger single asset and group hotel turnarounds insolvency trades to exit, as lead director for Assured Hotels in both advisory roles and full management agreement capacity. This has involved working with all types of banks and funders, restructuring and insolvency practitioners as well as direct appointments with hotel asset owners and investors.In his earlier career Mathew held senior Management roles in both large companies and under Private Ownership, so understands the dynamics in managing different relationships to positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
