Rob Halliday is an Associate Director within Alvarez & Marsal’s Restructuring practice working primarily in Leeds and London. Rob brings more than 12 years of specialist restructuring and corporate finance experience, focusing on Special Situations M&A and financial advisory.Rob works closely with his clients and key stakeholders to maximise and preserve value during periods of business stress and distress.Rob has worked with clients across a range of industries, including retail, consumer, travel and leisure, food and beverage, manufacturing, engineering and financial services.Most recently at A&M, Rob facilitated the sale of a longstanding spare parts distributor to Screwfix, part of Kingfisher plc. Prior to this, Rob facilitated the solvent rescue of a business specialising in fibre optic network implementation.Prior to joining A&M, Rob spent 10 years with Kroll’s advisory and restructuring practice where he most recently served as Director. His notable engagements included leading the sales of a global precision engineering business to a UK private equity firm, a furniture manufacturer to an international trade purchaser, and a wealth management business to a trade consolidator.Rob earned a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Loughborough University. He is also a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has completed the Joint Insolvency Examination Board.
