NOW drinks reception on 12 November:

On 12 November, the TMA UK 2025 Annual Conference kicked off with an afternoon drinks reception hosted by the Network of Women and kindly sponsored by BM&T.

Conference attendees and NOW members gathered at L’Escargot on Greek Street to catch up with contacts and make new connections ahead of the main conference day. The event featured Molly Weaver, a record-breaking athlete who earlier this year set a new world record for the fastest circumnavigation of the British coastline, completing the 7,730km journey in 21 days, 10 hours and 48 minutes.

Molly recounted how she started in track and road racing before transitioning to endurance cycling. She talked about what inspired her record attempt and openly described the challenges and triumphs through training and the event itself. The audience posed several questions, especially wondering what’s next for someone who just set a world record.
