TMA Nextgen Manchester February event
The latest event by the TMA Nextgen Manchester committee saw DLA Piper generously host an insightful breakfast seminar on recent retail trends.
The well attended event kicked off with a social and delicious breakfast which allowed people in the industry to catch up and network.
Once everyone was well fed and had caught up, Ally Whittaker (PwC) and Aimee Harper (DLA Piper) kicked things off with a retail themed quiz, testing everyone's knowledge on key trends in the sector and setting up ideas for discussion later on.
Cara McNally (Interpath) then delivered an overview of the Q4 retail results and the future trends we should expect, providing a lot of expertise in the industry and a great introduction to the panel discussion which was to follow.
We were then treated to Richard Harrison (Endless LLP) and Adam Heath (PHD Property) both giving their insights into the current state of the retail sector which was expertly led by host Aimee Harper. Both panellists described what they were seeing first hand in the market to give a view on the current difficulties faced within the sector and on how they see the outlook for the next 12 months.
