TMA UK NOW - 25th March Accelerate Action: Empowering Women in Turnaround & Restructuring

Inspired by the amazing TMA NOW event held this morning to celebrate IWD - thank you Antoinette Dale Henderson FPSA PCC for your keynote address – and this year's IWD theme of Accelerate Action, I've been reflecting on the work TMA UK has been doing to encourage and empower women in our industry to thrive and succeed.

I'm very proud to be the first female president of TMA UK which, over the last 15 months, has showcased the work of many exceptional women in turnaround through our monthly presentations and panel events, our conference speakers, events of TMA NOW and the regular contributions of the women who sit on the TMA UK board (thank you) Sonia Jordan Anna Nolan Daniela Pontonutti ACMA, CGMA and Rebecca Walker.

We also have many women engaged both as mentors and mentees in our unique TMA Members' mentoring program and I have been particularly pleased to see our audiences at events across the country better reflect our industry, sparking interesting diverse conversation and debate and helping to generate business opportunities. It is fantastic to lead TMA UK's wider strategy and to be a catalyst empowering others and encouraging everyone's voice and contribution on what matters for TMA. An exciting and rewarding journey so far and there is so much more to aspire to and achieve!
