TMA UK Scotland 17th August

TMA Scotland were delighted to be at the Radisson Red in Glasgow last night, Thursday 17th August, to hear from ABL specialist and "guru" Paul Beveridge of Beveridge Consulting and SIA Group. Paul shared stories from his wide ranging 4 decades career, with highlights including starting three hugely successful ABL practices, his first dealings with invoice factoring lending to then asset-based lending in the whisky sector and then asset-based lending to the English sparkling wine sector (some of the Scottish audience argued that he had taken a step backwards!) Paul very generously also took a raft of questions from the audience, where there was discussion on how important technology is in the ABL market but also how important the personal touch still is, going to visit clients and their premises is key in building relationships and making sure all is as it is meant to be! And going forward, Paul sees the future of the sector as being "hybrid-ABL".
